This program is an application for your digital camera memory cards, USB keys and mass storage devices. The recovery takes some time, you can pause it at any point if needs be, but best to just let it run. Imagine your memory card is a book and each photo is a short chapter which spans a few pages. To quickly flick to the right chapter you use the index, computers have something called a File Allocation Table (known as FAT), this tells the computer where each of your photos starts. If you were to lose your index (the FAT) it makes it difficult to find the chapters you want, you have to flick through each page looking for the one you want. This program runs on Microsoft Windows - XP, Vista, Windows 7.
